Seer Green and Jordans Society was founded in the 1960s.

We aim to:

  • Promote high standards of planning and architecture in Seer Green and Jordans
  • Preserve, protect and improve features of historic and aesthetic interest in the 2 villages
  • Encourage understanding and appreciation of the villages' environments

Run by residents, for residents, we

  • Monitor and comment on significant planning applications.
  • Encourage developers and householders to adopt the recommendations of the Chiltern Local Plan as a way of conserving the local landscape.
  • Publish a twice yearly newsletter and deliver it to all residents.
  • Support other groups in their campaigns to protect the local environment.
  • Organise occasional walks, meetings and visits.
